Veterans Day Parade

As usual, another great Veterans Day Parade was put on by the City of Grand Junction and various civic groups of the Grand Valley.  Here's a few pics for you to enjoy.

Horse Show

Here's some pics of a friend of mine that was entered into a horse show today.  (Oct 17)  We don't know how she did yet.

Chimpmonks don't like carrots.  The big brown blob is a sunflower that's been picked over by the chimpmonks.  You are at a altitude of over 10,000 feet up here.

Land's End Road

These are some pictures taken from Lands End Road to the top of the Grand Mesa.  It's a winding road with lots of switchbacks and scary as hell if you are a passenger.  But the view from the top is worth the trip.  My next post will have views from the top.

Goats and More Goats

These are a couple of "dark" shots of the latest full moon. No editing was done. The waterfall is near the 'roller dam' on the Gunnison River.

New Van

Well, as mentioned in my other blog, I got a new van. Bigger than I wanted but what the heck. Here's a couple of pictures. It's a 1990 Chevy G20 with four captain chair seats and a bench seat that folds down to a bed. That pile of stuff is the curtains for the windows.

Buffy

Here's a couple of pictures of Buffy. My van broke down in Dec so I haven't had a vehicle to get out and take some pictures. Hopefully that will be fixed soon.
